Welcome - David Roche Dear Members, On behalf of the Board, I am pleased to advise that David Roche has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Byron Bay Golf Club, commencing on 11 May 2026. David brings with him a wealth of experience across both national and international golf environments, with a career spanning resort and destination clubs, major event management, and the delivery of high-profile golf championships. His background also includes strong expertise in governance, business leadership, and club operations, positioning him well to lead our Club into its next phase. Throughout the recruitment process, David stood out as an exceptional candidate. His balanced experience across tourism-driven facilities and community-focused clubs, combined with his strategic mindset and leadership capability, made him a unanimous choice of the selection panel. We are confident that David’s appointment will bring renewed energy, professionalism, and direction to the Club. His leadership will be instrumental in enhancing both the member experience and the long-term sustainability of Byron Bay Golf Club.
