Welcome to the most easterly golf course in Australia

Byron Bay Golf Club (BBGC) – is open.  Unfortunately, however, due to the recent escalation of COVID cases in Victoria and to ensure the health and safety of our patrons we will not be allowing Victorian residents access to the course or clubhouse.

Although restrictions are easing, we are aware of the risks still present.  Therefore, it is imperative that we observe social distancing (1.5m), signing in requirements, sanitising and all other recommended hygienic practices.

If you do not comply with any operational directions given by Club or Pro Shop staff, we will only issue one warning, after that you will be suspended and face disciplinary action.

Golf operations are continuing as follows:

  • NO WALK-INS – YOU MUST BOOK IN THROUGH CLUB’S WEBSITE FOR COMPETITION GOLF or PHONE THE PRO SHOP on 6685 6977 TO BOOK NON-COMPETITON GOLF
  • Guidelines for golf protocols and expected behaviour will change and evolve – please follow all directions of club personnel regarding acceptable behaviour, play rules and conditions

Restaurant / Weddings / Functions

Come and enjoy fantastic Italian food from our restaurant The Pasta Bowl, dine in or takeaway.

The Pasta Bowl is open for dinner Wednesday – Sunday from 5pm.  Limited menu available from 3pm.

DAYTIME – Sandwiches, Pies and Sausage Rolls will be available from the bar – with a selection of other snacks.

The Byron Bay Golf Club and course is located approximately 5 km south of the CBD.
It is situated on Broken Head Road, opposite the Byron at Byron Resort and Spa. The club boasts a popular restaurant offering spectacular views across the golf course and to the lighthouse.
