Bowerbird dining and events at the Byron Bay golf club is the brain child of Tom Bower.
Following a family steeped in the Hospitality Industry, from Stagecoach Pubs in the 1800’s to today, Tom always knew his destination.
Serving his Apprenticeship in Venues and Restaurants in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Europe then called with opportunities from local bistros to Michelin Star Restaurants.
On returning and settling in amazing Byron Bay he worked as Head Chef at the acclaimed Balcony before having the chance to create the kitchen and menu for Italian Diner at Bangalow, securing a Good Food Guide Award.
Since then Bowerbird catering has evolved to supply wonderful dishes and events, with a focus on local produce & suppliers, to meet every Client’s specific wishes.
